These jobs are part of the Assam Forest Service under the Environment and Forests Department. This is a great chance for young people who are looking to work in the forest department. Men must be at least 163.1 cm tall and have a chest size between 84.1 cm to 89.1 cm when expanded. Women must be at least 150.1 cm tall.. These physical standards must be met to be eligible for the job.The selection process includes a written exam, a walking test, an interview, and a medical check-up. The written test is 400 marks and has two papers,one on General Studies and English, and another on Forestry and Environmental Science. After the written exam, there is a Physical Efficiency Test. Men need to walk 24 to 25 kilometers in 4 hours, and women need to walk 13 to 14 kilometers in the same time. Then there will be an interview worth 50 marks. A medical test will also be done to check fitness.
